On one of the days I was privileged to board a commercial bus from my office at Magodo Phase 2 to my residence at Magboro, I met a man who shared a part of his life's story with co-commuters who cared to listen.
Upon getting to Berger Bus Stop, he lamented how he was offered a plot of land at Berger in 1991 for #20,000 but he refused to buy stating that he could not buy land in a bush (At that time, Berger was a bush at the outskirts of Lagos and was seen as far from Ikeja).
